Biography
Reginald Thompson is a Sierra Leonean Afro-Jazz Saxophonist / Multi-Instrumentalist and a Founding member of the Legendary new school Freetown Uncut Band and also the Music and Music entertainment Ltd. He is widely known for his work bands across Sierra Leone including recording with various artists in Sierra Leone, The Gambia ,Senegal, U.K and the United States. He is very unassuming yet prolific, effective and gifted musician. He is known for his melodic improvisation, and unique style in most songs he has been featured in.
He is a passionate music educator, and is currently working with Rozinka School for the Performing Arts,De Champ and with the Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts when the need arise. He has hosted jazz concerts in three consecutive years. He is a touring musician and is on great demand touring with other artists in Sierra Leone and the Sub region. Reginald lives with his family in Freetown,Sierra Leone and is steadily balancing his music career and family life.
